Brian Littrell
My mom quoted this to me while I was growing up. I actually thought that she had made it up until I saw it on a poster in high school : )

candy apple easter eggs

Photobucket M

My baby sister and I "died" Easter eggs over the weekend. We went to Michael's planning to go all Martha Stewart, but we found some fun egg dying kits and decided to try them out. We tried the Candy Apple Eggs kit first and didn't make it to the second box (next year...). We painted the eggs with some sort of laquer that gave the eggs a hard, shiny finish. They look pretty cool and were a lot of fun to make!

Now I just need to make them into ornaments so that I can hang them on an Easter tree...

I've been wanting to go to The Getty for quite some time now, and just never seemed to make it. Well, Justin decided that we needed to just do it, so we went last Saturday evening. They started keeping the museum open until 9pm on Saturdays so that people can go up there and watch the sunset. Museum entrance is always free, and if you go after 5pm on Saturdays parking is also free! We had a lot of fun walking around the gardens and then some of the museum exhibits. We saw a really cool exhibit called "Urban Panoramas" that I'll do a feature post on later this week.

The entire campus is gorgeous--I love the architecture and the gardens are beautiful. Next time, we're taking a picnic and a bottle of wine with us!

    hello, spring!

I spent the weekend down in Orange County visiting Justin. I suggested that we go to the beach, so he took me down to Laguna to walk along their great boardwalk. It was so beautiful--Laguna has to be one of my favorite beaches in Southern California. They have some great little parks right along the beach, fun shops and restaurants, and good people watching : )

Being at the beach reminded me that I need to buy a new swimsuit for this spring/summer... : )

Before putting this list together, I had never noticed my penchant for YSL shoes, and I was surprised about the lack of Chanel...

top 5 handbags I would kill for:

    1. chanel reissue 2.55
    2. chloe paddington satchel
    3. fendi spy bag
    4. kooba jaylin bag
    5. marc jacobs stam bag
If you know me, you know that I am a shoe girl, but I am quickly becoming a shoe/handbag/watch girl (uh oh...). These are the five handbags that I feel most represent my style, and that I would actually like to save up to collect. If there was a clutch on this list, it could be my conclusive handbag wardrobe...

    look: messy glamour

    (via sugar pop tarts)

I love this look because so much of it is ultra-glamorous and statment-making, yet there is something so imperfect about it.
